Who we are

helixcorebio.store and the HelixCore Biotech brand are operated by HelixCore LLC, a Maryland limited liability company. We are the data controller for any personal information collected through this site.

What we collect

• Order info: name, shipping address, billing address, email, and order contents.
• Account info: if you create an account, your email and password (hashed).
• Payment info: orders are currently completed off-platform via Zelle, ACH, or crypto — we never collect or store card numbers. Card processing will move to a PCI-compliant payment provider (Stripe) when it goes live; even then, we never see or store your full card number.
• Usage data: basic analytics about how you use the site (pages viewed, referrer, device type).

How we use it

• To process and ship your orders.
• To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and CoA links.
• To respond to support requests and fraud detection.
• To improve the site (analytics).

Who we share it with

We share data only with vendors who help us run the business — payment processor, shipping carriers, email provider, analytics — and only to the extent necessary. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We use first-party cookies for cart persistence, account login, and basic analytics. Disabling cookies may break parts of the site (notably your cart).

Your rights

Regardless of where you live, you can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@helixcorebio.storewith the subject “Privacy Request.” We respond within 45 days.

U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on the state you reside in — including California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), and a growing list of others — you may have the following additional rights:

• Right to know / access: request the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you, the categories of sources, and the purposes for which we use it.
• Right to correct: ask us to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to delete: ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal retention requirements (see Data retention below).
• Right to data portability: request a copy of your personal information in a portable, machine-readable format.
• Right to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising: described below.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information: we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under state privacy laws, so this right is satisfied by default.
• Right to non-discrimination: we will not deny you service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality because you exercised your privacy rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@helixcorebio.store. We verify identity by matching the email address against your order history. You may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf; we may require written authorization and verification of your identity.

If we deny your request, you have the right to appeal by replying to our denial email with the word “Appeal” in the subject. We respond to appeals within 45 days.

Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising as those terms are defined under U.S. state privacy laws. We do not engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

Do Not Track

Our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals because there is no industry-standard interpretation. We honor opt-out requests submitted by email as described above.

Children's privacy

Our site and products are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us at privacy@helixcorebio.store and we will delete it. Our products and services are intended only for users 21 years of age or older.

Data retention

Order records are kept for 7 years to satisfy tax and regulatory requirements. Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it.

Security

We use TLS for all traffic, hash passwords, and follow industry best practices. No system is perfectly secure — please use a unique, strong password.
